The Opportunity
We're working exclusively with a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy to find an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing team. The Role
You'll work across a diverse portfolio of civil and infrastructure projects, supporting clients from site appraisal through to construction delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Site appraisals, feasibility studies and pre-application advice
- Development masterplanning and site acquisition due diligence
- Flood Risk Assessments and SuDS drainage design
- Infrastructure design - underground services, drainage and external works
- Highways design, Section 38 and Section 278 Agreements
- Sewerage authority liaison, adoption agreements and requisitions
- Earthworks, ground modelling and cut/fill analysis
- Contract administration and site supervision / Resident Engineer duties
- Estate maintenance and facilities management input
What They're Looking For
- Minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience in a civil engineering design consultancy
- Advanced proficiency in FLOW drainage modelling software and Civil 3D - essential
- Strong written communication skills - clear, concise reports and client correspondence
- Comfortable representing the business at client meetings
- Commercially aware, team-oriented, and collaborative by nature
