An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Handyperson to join one of the UK's leading facilities management companies, working around the Leicester area. The Handyperson role involves providing multi-site building maintenance services across various disciplines, primarily aimed at keeping services and costs in-house. Experience working in commercial premises, especially in the retail sector, would be a distinct advantage.
The work includes a mix of PPM and reactive building works both internally and externally, such as:
- Roof repairs, including leaks and gutter/gully clearance
- Brickwork repairs to walls
- Floor repairs, including vinyl and ceramic tiles
- Car park and yard maintenance
- Roller shutter maintenance and repairs
Additional responsibilities include:
- Minor painting repairs
- Plumbing and drainage tasks, such as unblocking drains, urinals, toilets, sinks, and repairing leaks
