Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Associate Southampton A well-established property consultancy is looking to strengthen its Southampton cost management team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor, at Surveyor, Senior, or Senior Associate level. The business operates across a diverse range of sectors, including residential, commercial, education, and leisure. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS looking to take the next step in their career within a growing consultancy, with the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of projects and take on increasing responsibility. The Role As a Quantity Surveyor / Senior / Senior Associate, you will be involved in delivering cost management services across a range of projects, working closely with clients, contractors and wider project teams. Responsibilities will include: Providing cost management and quantity surveying services throughout the project lifecycle Cost planning, estimating and budgeting Measurement and preparation of tender documentation Procurement and tender analysis Contract administration and commercial management Interim valuations, payment applications and cost reporting Managing variations, change control and final accounts Providing commercial advice to clients and project teams Attending site and client meetings Developing and maintaining strong client relationships Supporting junior members of the team and contributing to the continued growth of the Southampton officePost-contract experience would be highly desirable. About You Experience working within a consultancy environment Strong pre-contract experience, with post-contract experience highly desirable Good knowledge of cost management and commercial processes Strong client facing and communication skills The ability to manage projects and work independently A relevant Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent qualificationThe role will involve regular site visits, so candidates should be comfortable travelling to projects across the region where required.
