An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a rapidly growing specialist HVAC hire business. This field-based role covers Kent and the surrounding 20-mile area, working on temporary commercial heating and cooling systems for commercial and industrial clients. The successful candidate will install, service, maintain and fault-find temporary commercial boilers, burners, chilled-water systems and air-cooled chillers. Responsibilities include modifying existing pipework within plant rooms, responding to breakdowns and supporting customers with emergency temperature control solutions. You will work alongside an experienced engineering team and benefit from ongoing training, development, and clear prospects for progression.
Key Requirements
- Commercial Gas Safe qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with commercial boiler rooms and heating systems
- Knowledge of commercial mechanical pipework and LTHW systems
- Experience working with natural gas and oil-fired equipment
- Experience with chilled-water systems and AHU
- Air-cooled chiller fault-finding experience
- Understanding of electrical services and control wiring
- BMS experience advantageous
- F-Gas qualification beneficial but not essential
Benefits & Compensation
- £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Travel time paid door-to-door on customer sites
