We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join our growing engineering team covering Leeds and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial properties
- Commissioning and fault-finding on fire detection systems
- Testing and inspection of fire alarm equipment
- Completing service reports and certification paperwork
- Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team
- Ensuring all work complies with current fire safety regulations and standards
Experience & Requirements
- Experience installing and commissioning fire alarm systems
- Good knowledge of conventional and addressable systems
- Familiar with manufacturers such as: Gent, Advanced, Morley, C-Tec, Kentec
- Understanding of BS5839 standards
- Full UK driving licence
- ECS/CSCS card preferred
- FIA qualifications beneficial but not essential
Travel Requirements
- The role will involve travel across the UK depending on project requirements
- Occasional staying away from home will be required
- All accommodation and travel expenses will be covered by the company
