Geotechnical Engineer – Tunnelling
Location: Croydon
I am working with an international geotechnical consultancy, specialising in underground construction projects across the globe. In the process of expanding their Croydon office.
We are looking for an experienced Geotechnical engineer/ consultant, passionate about design works and looking to specialise in underground construction and challenging tunnelling and mining conditions that require state of the art techniques. Tunnelling/ underground experience is not required, however a genuine interest in this niche tunnelling sector is a must, as it will be the backbone of all the work undertaken as you specialise further within the Geotechnical field. A fundamental understanding of parameterisation within the context of soil and rock conditions will be an essential part of this role as it underpins a vast amount of the work you will be undertaking.
You will be surrounded by experts in the Geotechnical tunnelling field, working on the complex elements of high-profile projects, such as temporary ground freezing and cross passages design.
