Geo-Environmental Engineer

I have a position for a Geo-Environmental Engineer or Engineering Geologist looking for a new challenge in West Yorkshire. We are working with a leading civil and structural consultancy, on the lookout for a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their high performing team based in Leeds.

The Role:

As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality site investigations, environmental assessments, and ground engineering advice. You will have the opportunity to work on projects from inception through to design and delivery, supporting clients and colleagues with expert geotechnical and environmental input.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and supervising site investigations
• Soil and groundwater sampling and analysis
• Factual and interpretative report writing
• Contaminated land assessments and remediation design
• Liaising with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting the mentoring and development of junior staff

Requirements:

• A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Ideally 3-6 years of experience in geo-environmental or geotechnical consultancy environment
• A strong understanding of ground investigation techniques, contaminated land assessment and geotechnical principles
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
