The Role

Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for managing site operations and ensuring the successful delivery of the project to the highest standards of quality, safety and workmanship. This role is ideally suited to an individual who takes genuine pride in the finished product and understands that successful project delivery extends beyond programme and budget to include exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Managing day-to-day site operations from construction through to completion.
  • Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
  • Driving quality standards across all aspects of the build process.
  • Undertaking regular quality inspections and ensuring defects are identified and addressed proactively.
  • Maintaining programme performance whilst never compromising on quality or safety.
  • Leading site meetings and coordinating activities across multiple trades and disciplines.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, company procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Working closely with consultants, design teams and project stakeholders to resolve technical and construction issues.
  • Managing site logistics, sequencing and short-term programming activities.
  • Supporting project reporting and maintaining accurate site records.
  • Leading snagging, commissioning and handover activities to ensure a first-class finished product.

About You

The successful candidate will be an experienced Site Manager or Senior Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering high-quality residential, mixed-use or city-centre developments. Applicants are likely to possess:

  • Significant experience managing construction projects as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager.
  • A strong quality-first approach to project delivery.
  • Experience working on multi-storey residential, mixed-use, build-to-rent, hotel or city-centre developments.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Strong subcontractor management and coordination capabilities.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to maintain high standards whilst managing programme pressures.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
