Flood Modeller
Bristol
Salary β Competitive and negotiable, depending on experience
Due to the expansion plans of an existing team, my client is wanting to recruit a flood modeller on a permanent basis for their Bristol office (although can consider candidates in Sheffield or Warwick).
They are looking to recruit due to an increase in workload, and are keen to hire ASAP
The amount of previous experience such a candidate should have is flexible, but as a \βball park\β they would be hoping for someone with around 3-4 years experience within a similar consultancy
However, they would be willing to consider candidates with 2 or more years experience, and would also consider candidates with more experience also.
Main Duties:
Β· Working experience of Flow/Micro Drainage, Flood Modeller Pro, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS or similar 1D-2D hydraulic modelling software.
Β· Working experience of hydrological software (primarily WINFAP4, and ReFH2).
Β· Working experience of GIS software (QGIS).
Β· Use of AutoCAD/Autodesk Civil 3D preferred but not essential.
Β· Working experience of FRAs, SuDS and Pre-Planning civils.
Β· Working experience of detailed drainage design, and S agreements preferred but not essential.
Required Experience/Skills:
* Working experience of MicroDrainage, Flood Modeller Pro, TUFLOW or similar 1D-2D hydraulic modelling software.
* Working experience of hydrological software (primarily WINFAP4, and ReFH2).
* Use of AutoCAD/Autodesk Civil 3D preferred but not essential.
* Use of GIS software (QGIS) preferred but not essential.
* Working experience of FRAs, SuDS and Pre-Planning civils.
* Use of Microsoft Office software packages i.e. Excel, Word, etc.
Other Details β Training & Development:
You will be at or nearing chartership with a relevant body commensurate with your academic qualifications (i.e. CIWEM or ICE).
