Handyman / Handyperson - Chelmsford An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Handyman / Handyperson to join one of the country s leading Facilities Management companies, working with one of the UK s major supermarket clients across multiple commercial retail sites. This will be covering the Essex region including sites like Chelmsford, Maldon and Witham. This is a permanent, multi-site role providing building maintenance services across a broad range of disciplines, helping to keep essential services and costs in-house. Experience with basic plumbing in a commercial environment will be highly beneficial, while previous experience working within commercial premises, particularly the retail sector, would be a distinct advantage. The role involves carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPMs, as well as assisting with planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region. Key Responsibilities Assist other technicians with major and minor maintenance works. Complete all necessary PPM and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales.
