Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Ely A leading construction consultancy, offering quantity surveying and project management support directly to clients, are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Ely office. The consultancy delivers quantity surveying and project management services across a diverse portfolio of projects, working with a broad range of clients across the commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, entertainment and infrastructure sectors . The successful candidate will work across a varied portfolio of projects, with the role weighted towards post-contract quantity surveying, alongside opportunities to be involved in pre-contract work. Managing quantity surveying commissions from inception through to completion. Leading post-contract cost management and commercial delivery. Preparing and reviewing cost plans, valuations, variations, final accounts and commercial reports. Providing strategic commercial and quantity surveying advice to clients. Managing relationships with clients, contractors and wider project teams. Working across a diverse range of sectors and project types. Contributing to the continued development of the office and wider business. Maintaining high standards of service and professional delivery across all projects. We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable operating within a consultancy environment and enjoys working across different project types and sectors. Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy. Solid pre- and post-contract experience, particularly post-contract. Strong technical and commercial knowledge. The ability to take ownership of projects and work with a high degree of autonomy.
