Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience & qualifications)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (1-hour lunch)
Package: Door-to-door pay, company van & fuel card (private use optional), pension scheme, 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, and participation in a paid call-out rota.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician / Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Services provider. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work across a range of commercial sites in London and the surrounding areas. Ideal candidates will be based in Surrey, though applicants from anywhere in or near London who are happy to travel will also be considered.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical maintenance, testing, and installation services across a variety of client sites. This is a hands-on role for an electrically qualified professional with solid technical knowledge and strong fault-finding skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs.
- Conduct fault finding, testing, and inspections (including EICRs).
- Support installation and upgrade projects in line with current standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Work closely with mechanical and other engineering teams.
