Electrical Estimator South Birmingham (Office Based) Up to 75,000 + Car Allowance + Profit Share I m working with a well-established electrical contractor south of Birmingham who ve been designing and installing commercial electrical systems for major construction and fit-out projects for the best part of 30 years.
They work on schemes ranging from a few hundred thousand pounds right up to 15m, delivering design-and-build projects for some genuinely recognisable end users and main contractors.
It s a business with a strong family feel, low staff turnover, and a reputation in the industry for doing things properly rather than cutting corners.
They re now looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join the team on a permanent basis, fully office based in Bromsgrove.
The Role Producing electrical tenders for commercial construction and fit-out projects with values up to 15m Interpreting design-intent drawings and specifications to create cost-effective, profit-driven electrical designs and tender returns Analysing projects to establish the cost of labour, materials, prelims and overheads Obtaining and negotiating best prices from suppliers and subcontractors Checking the accuracy of subcontractor designs Liaising directly with clients, architects, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process Carrying out site surveys where required Producing schedules of ...
