Our client operates within the commercial fit-out and refurbishment sector, delivering complex projects across fast-paced retail and commercial environments nationwide. With over two decades of experience, the business provides a true end-to-end service, covering store construction, consolidation, fixture procurement, project delivery, and full mechanical & electrical installation, with a strong emphasis on HVAC systems and building services.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will support the effective management of projects from concept through to completion across multiple sites nationwide. The role has a strong focus on HVAC and M&E delivery, ensuring mechanical services are installed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme, specification, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure site activities are delivered in line with company values and best practice
  • Lead site teams across multiple locations to achieve high standards of HVAC and M&E delivery
  • Provide day-to-day leadership for site staff and subcontractors on national projects
  • Ensure works are delivered to programme, specification, and quality standards
  • Review, implement, and monitor RAMS, with a strong focus on mechanical and HVAC works
  • Prepare progress reports, monitor programmes, and sign off quality documentation
  • Approve employee timesheets and manage subcontractor attendance for accurate cost control
  • Ensure site inductions are completed thoroughly and records maintained
  • Identify non-conformances on site and implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Liaise daily with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain strong working relationships
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and workmanship across all sites
  • Record and communicate variations or additional works with the Project Manager and QS

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Full UK clean driving licence (essential for national travel)
  • SMSTS
  • 3-Day First Aid at Work
  • CSCS Black Card
  • NVQ Level 5 or 6 (Construction or Building Services preferred)
