The Role
Based from the Doncaster depot, this is a hands-on, workshop-based role focused on the inspection, service, repair and preparation of pumping equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring all equipment returned from site is quickly turned around, fully operational, and ready for the next hire. This role is ideal for an engineer who prefers a stable depot environment while still working on a varied range of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, service and repair returned pump equipment and associated systems
- Carry out fault-finding on mechanical and basic electrical issues
- Prepare and test equipment prior to hire, ensuring it is fully operational
- Refurbish and maintain diesel and electric pump units, including submersible pumps
- Accurately complete service records and job reports
- Support general depot operations including equipment movement and organisation
