I'm currently recruiting for a Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a leading facilities and engineering business covering the Croydon area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team working across a variety of commercial environments, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on refrigeration systems.

The Role:
As a Refrigeration Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing refrigeration equipment, ensuring systems remain operational and compliant while delivering a high standard of service to customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
- Attending reactive breakdowns and fault-finding activities
- Diagnosing and repairing refrigeration system faults
- Working on a range of refrigeration plant and associated equipment
- Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
- Identifying remedial works and repair requirements
- Maintaining health and safety standards at all times

What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Experience working on commercial refrigeration systems
- CO₂ refrigeration knowledge
- Hydrocarbon experience
- Electrical fault-finding skills
- 18th Edition qualification
- IPAF certification
