Join a growing and dynamic regional office in York as a Construction Planner, playing a key role in shaping the success of new build and refurbishment projects valued up to £10 million. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll have a strategic impact across a diverse portfolio, including Commercial, Medical, Retail, and Office developments.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the effective planning and scheduling of construction activities from pre-construction through to project completion. Collaborating with delivery and commercial teams, you’ll help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes using Asta Powerproject.
  • Create and manage baseline schedules and integrate with project controls.
  • Produce and coordinate pre-construction and live construction plans.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Site Teams to monitor, update, and revise programmes as required.
  • Analyse project performance post-completion to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular progress reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities.

About You

  • Proven experience in planning roles within the construction sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of Asta Powerproject (essential).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
