Commercial Gas Engineer – OxfordAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading building services provider, working primarily across Oxford and the surrounding areas. The role will focus mainly on care home sites, with a mix of planned and reactive maintenance. We are also open to applications from Domestic Gas Engineers who are looking to progress into commercial work. Full training and development will be provided, with salaries starting around £30,000 for domestic engineers and rising up to £50,000 for experienced commercial engineers.

Duties

Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial gas systems and appliances.

Fault‐finding, repair, and servicing of boilers, heating systems, and associated plant.

Ensure compliance with all Gas Safe and health & safety regulations.

Work closely with colleagues and clients, representing the company in a professional manner.

Participate in a 1-in‐5 call‐out rota.

Requirements

Commercial Gas qualifications (essential for experienced applicants).

Gas Safe registration.

Full UK driving licence.

Strong knowledge of commercial heating systems and fault‐finding (for senior role).

Domestic Gas Engineers with the right attitude and willingness to learn will be considered for training.

Salary / Package

£30,000 – £50,000 basic salary (depending on experience and qualifications).

40‐hour week.

Travel time paid door‐to‐door.

1‐in‐5 call‐out rota with standby and overtime opportunities.

Company van, fuel card, and all necessary tools and uniform provided.

Training and career development into commercial qualifications for domestic engineers.
