A well-established and fast-growing Building Services consultancy near Bristol is looking to bring in a Senior Electrical Engineer to help shape and manage their electrical design team. This is a business that's built its reputation on repeat client work, currently sitting at around 85% of projects coming from existing relationships, and has grown steadily off the back of it.
The consultancy works across a broad sector mix, including office fit-outs, retail, healthcare refurbishment, and fire and safety survey work, so no two weeks look the same. They’re based in a dedicated office just outside Bristol, with a small, close-knit team and a genuinely hybrid way of working.
The Role
- Sit alongside the current leadership to help manage and oversee the electrical design team.
- Take on day-to-day monitoring and mentoring responsibility for the wider team as the business continues to grow.
- Deliver electrical design work directly across a varied sector portfolio, using tools such as Amtech, AutoCAD, and lighting calculation software.
- Work closely with the founder, who is looking to step back gradually from hands-on delivery to focus more on running and growing the business.
- Get involved in client-facing work, with scope to build toward tenders and business development over time.
About You
- Proven experience delivering electrical design across office, retail, healthcare, or similar commercial sectors.
