A Geo-Environmental Consultant opportunity in the Bristol area to move away from GI works and concentrate on technical delivery of high profile regeneration projects from cradle to grave. This role focuses more on project management and technical delivery across all aspects of contaminated land, remediation, earthworks, material management, risk assessments and geotechnics. Full chartership support is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of site investigations and supervision of subcontractors with extensive logging experience and the use of drill rigs including trial pitting, cable percussion, window sampling etc.
- Competent at writing Phase II and Phase II reports - minimum requirement.
- Ambition for chartership.
- Focus on project management and technical delivery across contaminated land, remediation, earthworks, material management, risk assessments and geotechnics.
Qualifications:
- Relevant scientific background in Geology, Environmental Sciences, Hydrogeology, Geological Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Experience in the delivery of site investigations and supervision of subcontractors with extensive logging experience and the use of all drill rigs including trial pitting, cable percussion, window sampling etc.
- UK driving licence.
