\\nDue to continued expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Bridge Inspector to join their dedicated team.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nAs a Bridge Inspector, you'll be involved in diverse inspection projects-from single-span structures for private clients to full network asset management programmes for major infrastructure operators. \\nYour responsibilities will include:\\n\\nCarrying out safety, general, principal, special and assessment inspections\\n\\nConducting visual inspections, drone surveys, hammer tap surveys, corrosion and defect assessments\\n\\nUsing specialist NDT and structural monitoring equipment\\n\\nUndertaking inspections in confined spaces, over water, at height or via MEWPs, powerboats, pontoons or rope access\\n\\nSupporting stock data reporting and technical reviews\\n\\nAssisting in planning and implementing inspection programmes\\n\\nCoordinating access, permits, traffic management and liaising with clients and contractors\\nThe role will involve UK-wide travel, with occasional nights away or international assignments. Flexibility for night and weekend work is required-but this is balanced with a strong company focus on work-life balance, flexible working arrangements and employee wellbeing.\\n\\nEssential Requirements\\n\\nRelevant civil or structural engineering qualification (e.g.

BTEC HNC)\\n\\nExperience in inspecting bridges or similar structures\\n\\nStrong report writing and documentation skills\\n\\nFamiliarity with relevant guidance (e.g. CS 450, Inspection Manual for Highway Structures)\\n\\nWillingness to gain LANTRA Bridge Inspection Competence Scheme (BICS) certification if not already held\\n\\nFull UK driving licence\\n\\nDesirable Qualifications & Experience\\n\\nCertification in PASMA, IPAF, PTS, CSCS, confined spaces, emergency first aid\\n\\nKnowledge of CS 462 and BA35/90\\n\\nExperience using SMIS, Agile, Bridge Station or other reporting tools\\n\\nRope access or water-based access experience\\n\\nStructural assessment and review experience\\n\\nThe Ideal Candidate\\n\\nYou'll be someone who thrives in a hands-on, outdoors environment, just as much as in technical reporting.
