Role – BREEAM Assessor Location – Nottingham (Hybrid Working) Salary – Β£35k – Β£50k (Flexible) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a BREEAM Assessor / Sustainability Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary consultancy in either Nottingham. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their sustainability career while working in a collaborative and flexible environment. The Role The successful candidate will work alongside BREEAM and Energy Assessors as part of a wider building services design team. This role includes both technical BREEAM delivery and a broader sustainability coordination function β guiding projects from a sustainability perspective and helping develop strategies that shape sustainable design. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage BREEAM assessments, particularly under New Construction V6.1 (Refurbishment experience desirable). Coordinate sustainability initiatives and ensure project compliance with client requirements. Provide sustainability input into design processes and collaborate with engineering teams. Support internal teams and contribute to securing new business opportunities. Requirements Essential: Registered BREEAM Assessor. Experience delivering BREEAM New Consturction V6.1 Schemes . Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage deadlines. Desirable : BREEAM Accredited Professional (AP) status. Experience with other frameworks (e.g. WELL, LEED, DREAM). Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Working Arrangements Hybrid working: ideally in the office 1β2 days per week, but flexible. Sector background is not critical β the documentation and processes are consistent across sectors.
