An established and growing Building Services consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Manchester team due to continued project growth across the UK in some exciting sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer or an ambitious Intermediate Engineer ready to step into a senior-level role within a consultancy delivering technically led MEP and Mission Critical projects across multiple sectors.

The business has built a strong reputation for delivering intelligent, integrated, and sustainable building services solutions across commercial, healthcare, industrial, residential, education, retail, logistics, and mission critical developments.

The Role

You'll join an experienced Electrical team delivering projects from concept through to completion across RIBA Stages 1-5. Projects include:

  • High-rise residential developments
  • Industrial and logistics facilities
  • Healthcare and education schemes
  • Commercial office developments
  • Mission Critical and infrastructure projects
  • Large-scale warehouse and manufacturing facilities
  • Stadium and mixed-use developments

You'll be working on technically challenging schemes ranging from local developments through to nationally recognised projects, with a strong focus on quality design, sustainability, and low carbon solutions. The consultancy operates a modern BIM-led delivery environment, with Revit playing a key role across project design and coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical Building Services design across all project stages
  • Leading and delivering projects independently and within multidisciplinary teams
  • Producing and reviewing technical designs and specifications
  • Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
  • Client and design team coordination
  • Working closely with senior leadership on project delivery

Requirements

  • Experience within Building Services / MEP consultancy
  • Strong Electrical Design background
  • Revit experience is essential
  • Experience delivering projects through RIBA Stages 1-5
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Salary & Benefits

  • £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
