A unique and boutique role has now come available for an Assistant to Intermediate level Project Manager looking to join one of the most highly successful Commercial Real Estate Practices based out of Leeds.

Based within their in-house Building & Project Consultancy team, you will be assisting and advising on several prolific commercial fit outs and new build projects they have ongoing and much more in the pipeline across the northern regions.

They are ideally looking to speak with PMs already used to working within a fast-paced environment on the client/consultancy side. Those with the APM or RICS working towards chartership would be advantageous; however, consultancy experience is the key for this position. Ideally, if you are perhaps from a building surveying background who would be keen to change over into a full overseeing project management role, this could be a perfect position for you.

In return, you will be given the chance to develop within a relatively small team of Building Surveyors & Project Managers who all support and drive each other to be the best within the business.

Experience Needed:
  • Relevant degree qualified (Surveying/Construction Management)
  • Proven track record as a Project Manager (ideally within a consultancy/client-side environment)
  • Knowledge and experience working through JCT/Traditional contracts
  • Knowledge and experience working through RIBA Stages
  • Responsible for managing and delivering your own projects on time and within budget
  • Pre and post contract experience
  • Dealing with Tenders, negotiating with contractors, procurement knowledge etc.
  • Comfortable in Client facing role and developing Client relationships
