We are currently working with a national multidisciplinary consultancy as they look to add a Senior Façade Engineer to their division in London, located close to London Bridge. You will be joining a diverse and growing team of twelve with an impressive array of projects on their slate. Clients include banking institutions and large-scale property developers.
The consultancy’s engineers work as part of a design team from the concept stage or on a specific individual basis to bring high-level technical expertise to any project.
They analyse the performance value of different façade designs considering the technical and environmental behaviour of customised and bespoke innovative solutions.
Their approach addresses key issues in building design – structural, energy efficiency, internal climate control, resilience (blast), and advanced construction techniques. This is based on advanced analysis and research and development programmes working directly with manufacturers and universities.

- Portfolio reviews where environmental performance and durability are considered

- Environmental performance of building facades
- Thermal Analysis 2D and 3D modelling

To be successful in this role, you will be degree educated in either civil engineering or architecture and have a minimum of five years of industry experience in a Façade Engineering position. Regardless of your skill-set, whether it’s more focused on design, drawings, or forensic analysis, I will be really interested to discuss this opportunity with you. You will ideally be a member or associate member of the Society of Façade Engineering.
