An established and highly respected specialist hire company is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / Chiller and Boiler Specialist Engineer to join their growing engineering team. The business provides temporary heating, cooling, and hot water solutions to commercial, industrial, and public-sector clients across the UK.

Due to continued growth and increased demand for their services, they are seeking to strengthen their engineering team with an experienced, technically capable engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, supporting installations, servicing and maintenance of temporary boiler and chiller equipment across multiple client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, Service and Maintenance of Temporary Commercial Boilers and Chillers
  • Diagnosing Faults on Chilled Water Systems, AHUs and Forced Draft Burners
  • Modifying Pipework and Mechanical Systems Within Existing Plant Rooms
  • Attending Client Sites Across the UK With a Company Vehicle Provided
  • Supporting Junior Engineers and Contributing to Ongoing Training
  • Ensuring All Work Is Completed in Line With Safety and Compliance Standards

Key Requirements

  • Strong Experience With Commercial Mechanical Systems
  • Experience Working on LTHW Systems and Chilled Water Systems
  • Knowledge of Natural Gas and Oil-Fired Boiler Systems
  • Experience With Control Wiring and Electrical Services
  • Experience Working on Air-Cooled Chillers and AHU Systems
  • Commercial Gas Safe Certification
  • F Gas Refrigeration Certification
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to Support Call Out Rota and Emergency Work When Required
  • Willingness to Complete DBS Checks for Certain Client Sites
