We are looking for a Temporary Works Design Engineer to support the delivery of complex temporary works and structural engineering packages on live projects across the UK. The office is based in Leeds centre and the role is office-led due to the collaborative nature of the projects. The firm has delivered major infrastructure schemes such as HS2, Crossrail and Thames Tideway and works on a wide range of specialist civil, water, rail, energy and underground projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce temporary works drawings, technical details and coordinated models using AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Develop construction issue packages and manage technical detail delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and construction teams to provide practical, buildable solutions.
  • Work on a variety of schemes including tunnelling, shaft construction, reinforced concrete structures, launch pits and specialist civil engineering packages on major infrastructure projects.
  • Apply problem‑solving skills in constrained or technically challenging environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Solid experience within temporary works, civil engineering, structures or heavy infrastructure projects.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑moving project environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D and exposure to BIM tools such as Navisworks, Revit and MicroStation.
