Responsibilities

  • Carry out structural inspections, surveys and investigations on a variety of buildings.
  • Spend roughly three days a week on site, with the remainder focused on reporting, technical problem‑solving and supporting project delivery from the Leeds office.
  • Produce clear, detailed technical reports that influence decisions.
  • Support and guide junior engineers within the growing team.
  • Work flexibly to accommodate off‑hour retail inspections.

Qualifications

  • Chartered structural engineer or close to achieving chartership.
  • Strong experience carrying out structural inspections and surveys, writing detailed technical reports and managing work independently.
  • Solid knowledge of UK structures and building standards.
  • Experience in a consultancy setting is expected.
