The business provides temporary heating, cooling, and hot water systems to commercial, industrial, and public‑sector clients. Due to continued demand for these services, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team with an experienced engineer based in Leeds.
Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintenance of temporary boiler and chiller systems.
- Fault‑finding on chilled water systems, AHUs and burner equipment.
- Installation and commissioning of mechanical plant and equipment.
- Modifying pipework within existing plant room installations.
- Travelling to client sites across Leeds and surrounding areas.
- Supporting less experienced engineers where required.
- Ensuring work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards.
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience working on commercial mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of LTHW heating systems and chilled water systems.
- Experience with natural gas and oil‑fired boiler systems.
- Understanding of control wiring and associated electrical systems.
- Experience working on air‑cooled chillers and AHUs.
- Commercial Gas Safe certification.
- F Gas refrigeration certification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to support call‑outs when required.
- Ability to pass DBS checks for certain client sites.
