You will work across a diverse portfolio of civil and infrastructure projects, supporting clients from site appraisal through to construction delivery.
Responsibilities
- Site appraisals, feasibility studies and pre‑application advice
- Development master‑planning and site acquisition due diligence
- Flood risk assessments and SuDS drainage design
- Infrastructure design – underground services, drainage and external works
- Highways design, Section 38 and Section 278 agreements
- Sewerage authority liaison, adoption agreements and requisitions
- Earthworks, ground modelling and cut/fill analysis
- Contract administration and site supervision / Resident Engineer duties
- Estate maintenance and facilities management input
Qualifications
- Minimum eight years' post‑qualification experience in a civil engineering design consultancy
- Advanced proficiency in FLOW drainage modelling software and Civil3D – essential
- Strong written communication skills – clear, concise reports and client correspondence
- Comfortable representing the business at client meetings
- Commercially aware, team‑oriented and collaborative by nature
