We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join our growing engineering team covering Leicester and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial properties
- Commissioning and fault-finding on fire detection systems
- Testing and inspection of fire alarm equipment
- Completing service reports and certification paperwork
- Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team
- Ensuring all work complies with current fire safety regulations and standards
Experience & Requirements
- Experience installing and commissioning fire alarm systems
- Good knowledge of conventional and addressable systems
- Manufacturers familiarity: Gent, Advanced, Morley, C‑Tec, Kentec
- Understanding of BS 5839 standards
- Full UK driving licence
- ECS/CSCS card preferred
- FIA qualifications beneficial but not essential
Travel Requirements
The role will involve travel across the UK depending on project requirements. Occasional staying away from home will be required. All accommodation and travel expenses will be covered by the company.
