Are you a Building Physics Engineer seeking a company that is big enough to attract challenging and interesting schemes from clients who are looking for more than the cheapest solution to achieve minimum compliance?
It’s here in Leeds!
This consultant has several offices dotted around the country, the backing of a larger group, and a well-balanced mix of end-of-project compliance work coupled with start-of-scheme strategy and planning.
You’ll be using IES to develop models, analyze designs, and guide the process to achieve higher levels of occupant comfort, reduce energy use, and lower embodied carbon as well as operational emissions.
You will need to be working in a Building Physics Engineer role currently (or as a Mechanical Design Engineer doing physics work) and comfortably using IES (they will help you learn IES if you are currently using TAS or DesignBuilder) to produce schemes.
If you are an accredited Energy Assessor, that would be useful, but is by no means essential; the key thing is your passion for the subject and desire to influence buildings for the better.
The package includes:
- Hybrid working
- 25 days leave
- Enhanced pension
- Cash health benefit scheme
- Life assurance
- Retail discounts
While they also have a fantastic central Leeds location for when you do need to commute and possibly the funkiest office with breakout areas, co-working facilities, and a coffee shop.
