Calibre Metalwork are looking for an experienced and reliable painter to join our growing team. We specialise in the restoration and installation of high-quality metalwork, including cast iron railings, gates, posts and architectural features. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their finish and understands the importance of preparation.
The Role:
- Preparation of metal surfaces (cleaning, sanding, rust removal, masking)
- Application of rust converters, primers and top coats
- Brush and spray application
- Workshop-based work with occasional site touch-ups
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working to programme deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial and metal painting
- Strong preparation skills (this is critical)
- Knowledge of paint systems for interior and exterior metalwork
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving license preferred
