Calibre Metalwork are looking for an experienced and reliable painter to join our growing team. We specialise in the restoration and installation of high-quality metalwork, including cast iron railings, gates, posts and architectural features. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their finish and understands the importance of preparation.

The Role

  • Preparation of metal surfaces (cleaning, sanding, rust removal, masking)
  • Application of rust converters, primers and top coats
  • Brush and spray application
  • Workshop-based work with occasional site touch-ups
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Working to programme deadlines

Requirements

  • Proven experience in industrial and metal painting
  • Strong preparation skills (this is critical)
  • Knowledge of paint systems for interior and exterior metalwork
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving license preferred
