The Role
The CEO is an accomplished entrepreneur with a clear vision for the business. As commercial momentum continues to build, they are looking for someone who can take ownership of operational delivery, allowing them to focus on strategic growth and innovation. You’ll become involved in virtually every aspect of the business, ensuring projects move forward, customers receive an outstanding experience, internal teams remain aligned and commercial opportunities are maximised. This is a highly visible role requiring someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable switching between operational leadership, customer engagement and commercial discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of day-to-day operational management across the business.
- Become a trusted adviser and operational partner to the CEO.
- Coordinate internal activities across technology, product and commercial functions.
- Help implement scalable operational processes to support continued growth.
- Support customer meetings, demonstrations and ongoing client engagement.
- Assist with business development activities and sales opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with insurers, MGAs, brokers and strategic partners.
- Work closely with international software development teams to ensure priorities remain aligned.
- Help manage customer implementations and ongoing operational delivery.
- Drive projects through to completion whilst removing obstacles and maintaining momentum.
- Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
About You
You’ll be an energetic, commercially aware and highly organised individual who enjoys working at the heart of a growing business. You’re likely to have worked within an Insurtech, Specialty insurer, MGA or insurance software provider and will already understand the pace and demands of a scaling technology business. Most importantly, you’ll enjoy solving problems, building relationships and making things happen. You’ll have the confidence to represent the business externally whilst also providing practical operational leadership internally.
Experience Required
- Essential experience working within an Insurtech or insurance technology business.
- Strong understanding of the Specialty Insurance / London Market.
- Existing network and relationships across this insurance market.
- Previous experience supporting customer engagement and commercial activity.
- Strong operational management and organisational skills.
- Experience working alongside international technology or software development teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving start-up environment where priorities evolve quickly.
