The Role
As part of the Business Development team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality bid submissions by coordinating proposal responses, project sheets and CVs, while working closely with technical, commercial and design teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and produce compliant, high-quality proposals in line with the UK bid process
- Review bid documentation, identifying key requirements, deadlines and evaluation criteria
- Liaise with commercial teams on contractual and legislative requirements
- Participate in bid kick-off meetings and planning sessions
- Carry out targeted research to support win themes
- Review and edit bid content to ensure it is clear, compelling, accurate and on-brand
- Support the design and production of bid presentations
- Maintain and update the CRM system
About You
- Previous experience in a Bid Coordinator or similar role, ideally within the built environment
- Strong copywriting, editing and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of the bid process
- Working knowledge of InDesign and MS Office
- Confident communicator who is proactive, organised and calm under pressure
