Senior HR Executive (Global Maritime MNC)
Our client is a leading global organization in the maritime and ship management industry, with an established international presence and a diverse workforce across multiple markets.
As part of its continued growth in Singapore, the company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior HR Executive to manage end-to-end HR operations while supporting broader regional and global HR initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR generalist looking to take greater ownership of the employee lifecycle, strengthen their advisory capabilities, and gain exposure to strategic HR projects within a large and complex international organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, preboarding, onboarding, promotions, performance improvement plans, transfers and exits.
- Provide HR advisory support to employees in accordance with Singapore employment legislation, internal policies and established HR practices.
- Manage MOM work pass applications and renewals, global employee transfers, expatriate coordination and related travel arrangements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within SAP Success Factors, ensuring proper filing and data integrity.
- Support compensation and benefits activities, including payroll coordination, tax declarations, insurance renewals and employee benefits administration.
- Manage statutory surveys, government reporting, claims and submissions to relevant authorities.
- Prepare HR documentation and provide support for internal and external audit requirements.
- Design and coordinate employee engagement initiatives in partnership with regional HR leadership and Singapore management.
- Gather employee feedback, identify recurring issues and provide actionable insights to support HR decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Support HR administration and data coordination across Singapore and the Philippines.
- Participate in global HR initiatives, process improvement programmes and employee experience projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience, with hands-on exposure across multiple HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and local HR compliance requirements.
- Practical experience managing MOM work pass applications and employee mobility matters.
- Experience using SAP Success Factors would be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to collaborate effectively across local and international teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
