We are supporting a reputable shipowner in hiring a Purchaser to support their growing tanker fleet operations.
Location: Singapore
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate with Managers/Superintendents on spares & repair jobs
- Handle purchasing & logistics (air/sea/land freight)
- Prepare POs, invoices & shipping documents
- Liaise with vessels, suppliers & agents worldwide
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum GCE “O” Level or Equivalent. Diploma holder preferred.
- Maritime/logistics/engineering background
- Strong coordination & communication skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a great team player
- Preferably at least 1-3 years of experience in Technical or Purchasing role within the tanker shipping sectors.
- Well-versed in Class and Flag compliance, marine procurement, and dry-docking coordination
