Are you technically minded, detail-oriented, and experienced in marine procurement for gas vessels? We’re supporting a well-established shipping organisation that’s expanding its Gas Division, and they’re looking for a Technical Executive (Procurement) to join their shore team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support fleet operations by managing technical procurement for gas vessels (spares, services, consumables)
- Coordinate with Technical Superintendents on Class, Flag, surveys, repairs, and dry‑docking requirements
- Issue and manage Purchase Orders, quotations, deliveries, and invoice closure
- Liaise with vessels, suppliers, contractors, and agents worldwide
- Support dry‑docking preparation, vendor sourcing, and cost comparison
- Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Follow up on urgent and off‑hire items to ensure operational readiness
What we’re looking for:
- Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, or related discipline
- 1–5 years of experience in technical procurement / technical services within gas or tanker shipping
- Working knowledge of Class & Flag requirements, shipboard spares, and logistics coordination
- Strong coordination, communication, and organisational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and ship management / procurement systems
