Are you technically minded, detail-oriented, and experienced in marine procurement for gas vessels? We’re supporting a well-established shipping organisation that’s expanding its Gas Division, and they’re looking for a Technical Executive (Procurement) to join their shore team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support fleet operations by managing technical procurement for gas vessels (spares, services, consumables)
  • Coordinate with Technical Superintendents on Class, Flag, surveys, repairs, and dry‑docking requirements
  • Issue and manage Purchase Orders, quotations, deliveries, and invoice closure
  • Liaise with vessels, suppliers, contractors, and agents worldwide
  • Support dry‑docking preparation, vendor sourcing, and cost comparison
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company procedures
  • Follow up on urgent and off‑hire items to ensure operational readiness

What we’re looking for:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, or related discipline
  • 1–5 years of experience in technical procurement / technical services within gas or tanker shipping
  • Working knowledge of Class & Flag requirements, shipboard spares, and logistics coordination
  • Strong coordination, communication, and organisational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and ship management / procurement systems
