Our client is a growing professional services firm providing outsourced accounting and finance support to a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries. As the firm continues to expand, they are looking to appoint a commercially minded and hands‑on Accounting Manager to oversee client engagements and lead accounting delivery in Singapore.
This role goes beyond traditional accounting. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing end‑to‑end accounting and financial reporting while acting as a trusted advisor to business owners, CFOs, and senior stakeholders. You will gain exposure to a range of industries and business models, working closely with clients to provide financial clarity, compliance support, and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting services.
- Oversee the full spectrum of accounting activities including GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, month‑end and year‑end closing, and statutory reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with client stakeholders to provide financial insights, budgeting support, and cash‑flow guidance.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, corporate secretaries, and regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.
- Support new client onboarding, system implementations, and process improvements.
- Review work prepared by junior team members and provide mentorship where required.
- Drive continuous improvements in finance processes and reporting efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 4–8 years of accounting experience, ideally within a professional services or outsourced accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience managing multiple clients or entities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work directly with senior client stakeholders.
- Hands‑on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced client‑focused environment.
