Our client is an early-stage business operating within the infrastructure and industrial solutions sector, focused on delivering asset-based project solutions across regional markets. As the business continues to build its operational and commercial platform, they are seeking a hands-on Finance Head to establish and lead the finance function from the ground up. This role will report directly to the CEO and will combine strategic finance leadership with hands-on execution, supporting business growth, project development, governance, and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Leadership
- CPA / CA qualification would be advantageous.
- Around 10–15 years of experience in a senior finance role, such as Finance Head, Finance Manager, Controller, or equivalent.
- Strong end-to-end finance experience, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow, audit, tax, and governance.
- Prior experience in a start-up, scale-up, project-based, asset-heavy, engineering, maritime, energy, infrastructure, or industrial services environment would be advantageous.
- Experience with ERP selection, implementation, or finance process setup.
- Strong exposure to project costing and project financial management.
- Hands-on and pragmatic individual, comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels.
- Able to work in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment and build structure from scratch.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and business partnering skills.
