We’re seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Account Executive to join our growing team at Caliber on a 6 month fixed-term contract basis. You’re a client operator: equal parts relationship-builder and thinker, with experience working with clients and/or in marketing or brand roles that demand high-impact stakeholder handling. You’re excited by the idea of a role that doesn’t sit in a narrow lane and offers genuine room to grow.

In this role, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the seamless delivery of projects that meet set objectives and deliver measurable results. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing and creative teams, providing input and support where needed to help shape campaigns and strengthen client propositions. Experience in social media management is a plus, with an ability to translate online engagement into meaningful business outcomes. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, spotting opportunities for growth and contributing to Caliber’s reputation for client excellence and innovation.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Working with the Client Services team, act as the day-to-day point of contact for a selection of our key commercial clients, ensuring communication is smooth, proactive and insightful. Be part of client calls and updates, flagging opportunities, challenges or upcoming moments of relevance. Collaborate with our editorial and design teams to ensure deliverables are executed to a high standard and aligned with client goals. Help nurture client relationships and keeping an eye on long-term potential. Maintain internal project trackers and schedules, ensuring key deliverables are on time and on budget.
  • Internal & Cross-Functional Coordination: Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders across editorial, sales, product, and wider business teams, acting as a reliable point of contact and helping to identify opportunities to showcase our most compelling stories, successes, and insights both internally and externally. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure campaigns, content, and communications are aligned with business objectives, while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and keeping projects on track. Stay closely connected to developments across media, culture, current affairs, and digital platforms, proactively identifying emerging trends, audience behaviours, and conversation opportunities that can inform client work and strengthen our storytelling. Bring a curious and informed perspective to team discussions, helping to ensure our communications remain relevant, engaging, and reflective of the issues and trends shaping the audiences we serve. Support the development of thought leadership, content ideas, and campaign opportunities by translating cultural and media insights into actionable recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.

What you’ll need to thrive:

  • You’ll likely be at the beginning of your career with the desire to bolster your experience in client services, account management, communications and marketing.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to confidently manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with a willingness to take ownership of your work, solve problems independently, and contribute ideas that help clients and the wider team succeed.
  • A genuine interest in purpose-driven communications and the ability to align client objectives with meaningful impact and audience needs.
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly, coupled with the judgment to identify what matters most and focus your efforts accordingly.
  • A collaborative approach, bringing positive energy to team projects while building trusted relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to continuously learn, develop new skills, and stay informed about emerging trends across media, communications, and digital platforms.

Why Join Caliber? Together, we’ll shape the future of news and storytelling, connecting with audiences in fresh, meaningful ways. If you share our passion for innovation, authenticity, and impact, let’s make it happen.
