We are currently seeking to recruit a Retailer Systems Insights Analyst at Jaguar Land Rover in Coventry. The Retailer Systems Insights Analyst is responsible for supporting the Engagement Lead with interpreting and translating data (quantitative) and feedback (qualitative) across systems in the Retailer Systems Capability Group into actionable insight that informs strategy, drives system optimisation, and supports commercial decision-making. This insight can be presented in a form of multiple artefacts ranging from regular monthly newsletters for seniors, reports for Product Owners during backlog refinements, a direct forum with regional stakeholders, all the way through to a consolidated roadmap of optimisations driving increased adoption.

Where insight and information are not available, this role supports with requirements gathering and co-ordination of projects which seek to access this information so it can be turned into actionable insights for Product Owners and seniors alike (predominantly in Salesforce retailer tech stack). The outputs of this role ensure that Retailer Systems investment decisions, product roadmaps, and performance improvements are driven by evidence rather than instinct. Acting alongside the Engagement Lead as the central authority on Retailer Systems insights, the role helps to shape how performance, behaviour, adoption and ROI are understood, measured and communicated across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse retailer user behaviour across our Retailer Systems to identify trends, adoption patterns, friction points and performance / optimisation opportunities.
  • Translate complex and multi-source datasets into clear, actionable insights that influence product decisions and senior stakeholder thinking.
  • Support with building robust, insight driven artefacts such as monthly usage newsletter or business cases to support insights sharing, roadmap initiatives, enhancements and new capabilities.
  • Partner with Product Owners to shape hypotheses, success criteria and measurable outcomes for roadmap items, discoveries and sprint work.
  • Tailor insight storytelling for executive, commercial, product and operational stakeholders to ensure clarity and impact.
  • Collaborate with UX, CX, Analytics and Technology teams to drive continuous end to end system improvement based on insights obtained.
  • Monitor and ensure ongoing accuracy, consistency, integrity and usability of Retailer Systems data in collaboration with IT, platform and analytics teams.

About You

  • Strong experience in data analysis, insights, performance reporting or analytics roles within digital platforms.
  • Ability to work confidently with large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Proven ability to translate complex information into meaningful, actionable insights for non-technical audiences to help drive understanding of user behaviour across our Retailer systems.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams at all levels to support a clear understanding of usability that can drive roadmaps or change initiatives with data led insight.
  • High attention to detail, critical thinking ability and strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to use Excel / PowerPoint confidently to tailor narratives effectively to specific audiences (from executive level to operational).
  • Naturally curious, with a strong desire to understand “why” behind performance and behaviour.
  • Proactive and self-directed, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and levels of seniority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with Salesforce-based reporting environments.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar visualisation platforms.
  • Experience working with digital products, platforms or technology roadmaps.
  • Understanding of retailer or customer-facing systems.
  • Experience analysing user adoption, engagement or system utilisation metrics.
  • Experience supporting Agile teams, Product Owners or product development initiatives.

Salary & Benefits: Up to £42,000 dependant on experience. 25 Days Annual Leave, Calex Employee Benefits Packages (Inc Private GP and Healthcare Services, High Street Discounts, Discounted Gym Memberships and on Demand 24 Hour Wellbeing Service (Counselling and Advice), Life Assurance, Pension, optional private Healthcare cover.

Contract: Permanent / Full Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week

Place of Work: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the JLR office (Whitley, Coventry)

Pre-employment Checks: Calex will undertake the relevant/standard employment checks with any successful candidate. This includes contacting all nominated referees, as well as checking candidate ID, driving licence (if appropriate) and right to work in the UK. Some roles may also be subject to further pre-employment checks (confirmation will be provided through the recruitment process). The nature of this role may necessitate that we undertake a DBS check.
