As a Film & Animation Developer, you will produce high-quality video, motion graphics, and animated content that supports learning and communication across our Global Retail Network. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety—one day you may be on set filming, and the next you may be crafting high-impact animations or building 3D sequences. You will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, engineers, and creative leads to bring technical concepts to life in a visually engaging and brand aligned way.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing high-quality video content, including planning, filming, lighting, and audio capture
- Creating 2D and 3D animations for learning experiences, product explanations, and campaign content
- Translating technical information into clear, engaging visual narratives
- Editing footage and motion graphics using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Supporting multi-crew productions and contributing to pre production (scripts, storyboards, asset planning)
- Using 3D tools such as Blender, VRED, or Unreal Engine to enhance visual outputs
- Managing media assets and maintaining organised project files
- Keeping pace with emerging production tools, animation workflows, and creative technologies
About You
Essential
- Proven experience producing video content
- Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Understanding of storyboarding and visual storytelling
- Strong creative thinking and communication skills
- Ability to learn new tools and workflows quickly
- Experience working collaboratively within a production team
Desirable
- Experience with 3D tools (Blender, VRED, Unreal Engine, etc.)
- Motion design and 2D animation capability
- Illustration or graphic design background
- Experience with Sony Alpha camera systems
- Understanding of lighting and colour theory

Salary & Benefits

Calex will undertake the relevant/standard employment checks with any successful candidate.
