As a Sales Planner, you will:
- Strategically plan Caleres Europe’s sales forecast, for Sam Edelman and Vince, which supports the company in achieving its sales and inventory initiatives.
- Identify in-season opportunities and manage account profitability as well as sales initiatives.
- Submit accurate and timely sales forecasts by account, by material for each delivery period and provide ongoing reporting which illustrates tracking against plan.
- Support Senior Sales Planning Manager in translating high-level targets and wholesale strategies to a detailed financial plan by account.
- Work with international partners/brand teams to identify new and/or dropped lines and update range plans/forecasts accordingly, communicating updates effectively to all stakeholders.
- Assist the General Manager with ad-hoc planning tasks as required.
We seek people with these qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Wholesale and/or Retail Planning, Sales, Merchandising or Inventory Planning.
- Highly adept in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with an advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups and advanced formulas).
