Night Porter

Caledonian is looking for exceptional individuals aspiring to excel in the hospitality industry operating all year-round.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Handle any guests’ enquiries, incidents and coordinate services where required in conjunction with the Manager.
  • Following company control procedures in accordance with the internal audit requirements.
  • Confidently know all emergency procedures, have full knowledge of fire procedures.
  • Work in conjunction with the wider Front Office department to ensure all night’s objectives are fulfilled.
  • Close daily business, clean, maintain, secure property, and prepare for new day.
  • Aid other departments while on shift – bar or restaurant if necessary.
  • Always demonstrate a high level of customer service.

About you

  • Have excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Have excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift pattern.
  • Previous experience working nights desirable.
