We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer with hands-on experience in CO2 systems to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to expand their expertise, as full training will be provided in ammonia (NH3) refrigeration systems. You will be working on a variety of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and repair CO2 refrigeration systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations
- Accurately complete service reports and documentation
- Participate in on-call rota (if applicable)
- Undertake training and development in ammonia refrigeration systems
Requirements
- Proven experience working with CO2 refrigeration systems
- Relevant refrigeration / HVAC qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- F-Gas certification (essential)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to learn and develop ammonia refrigeration skills
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Previous experience with ammonia (NH3) systems
- Experience in industrial refrigeration environments
- Electrical qualifications or strong electrical knowledge
