We are currently recruiting for a Construction Project Administrator to join a busy and growing construction business based in Harlow, Essex.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a long-term career within the construction industry.
Working closely with the project management and wider operational teams, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure projects run smoothly, efficiently, and to schedule.
The Role
- As a Construction Project Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Project Managers and wider construction team.
- Assisting with the coordination and administration of construction projects from start to completion.
- Maintaining project files, records, spreadsheets, and documentation.
- Preparing and distributing project-related paperwork and reports.
- Updating project schedules, trackers, and databases.
- Raising purchase orders and assisting with invoice and payment administration.
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.
- Assisting with the organisation of meetings, site visits, and project-related appointments.
- Monitoring outstanding actions and ensuring information is followed up promptly.
- Supporting the preparation of quotations, tenders, and project documentation where required.
- Ensuring all project documentation is accurate, up to date, and properly filed.
