Are you an experienced PSV Technician, Bus Mechanic, PCV Engineer or HGV Technician looking for a new permanent opportunity in the Watford area? We are currently recruiting for a skilled PSV Technician to join a busy engineering team maintaining and repairing buses and coaches. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician seeking a stable, long-term position with a reputable operator.
The Role
- Servicing, repairing and maintaining buses and coaches
- Carrying out routine vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Ensuring vehicles meet DVSA and company compliance standards
- Accurately completing workshop documentation and inspection records
- Supporting fleet reliability and vehicle availability
Shift Pattern
- Week 1: 6:00am – 4:00pm
- Week 2: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Previous experience as a PSV Technician, Bus Mechanic, Coach Technician, PCV Engineer, HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A positive attitude and strong commitment to vehicle safety
