We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our clients team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of high-quality residential developments from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Working closely with developers, investors, contractors, consultants, and operational teams, you will play a key role in bringing large-scale BTR schemes to market and creating exceptional rental communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle from planning and design through construction and handover.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Monitor project programmes, budgets, risks, and key milestones.
- Ensure compliance with planning conditions, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- Manage procurement strategies and oversee contractor performance.
- Review and approve project documentation, specifications, and change requests.
- Support value engineering initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure smooth transition from construction to operational management teams.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within residential development, Build to Rent, PBSA, mixed-use, or large-scale housing projects.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies and construction processes.
- Experience managing project budgets and programmes.
- Knowledge of planning processes, development agreements, and construction contracts.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Direct experience delivering Build to Rent developments.
- Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional accreditation such as MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Building Safety Act requirements and residential asset management.
